To bring more love and warmth from society to children in impoverished mountainous areas, Upway Global has actively fulfilled its corporate social responsibility since its establishment, wholeheartedly investing in educational charity initiatives in poverty-stricken regions.

Following charitable school support activities in Jiangxi, Guangxi, Guizhou, and other locations, Upway Global presents another educational charity milestone. The "Upway Playground," funded by Upway Global and located at Wufeng Primary School in Wumu Village, Baoshan Township, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province, has been successfully completed and put into use.

Journey to Yunnan for Educational Support

On September 20, 2019, witnessed by the Lijiang Overseas Chinese Federation, County Education Bureau, Baoshan Township government, and other relevant parties, Upway Global held a simple opening and unveiling ceremony with the schools teachers and students on site.

The school representative spoke at the event, first introducing the schools current situation, reporting on the use of donated funds and the construction process of the playground, and expressing gratitude for Upway Globals selfless contribution. He noted that this act of kindness has infused the school with new vitality, enabling more children in remote mountain villages to enjoy a better learning environment. Moving forward, the school will motivate all teachers to work diligently, encourage students to study hard and practice gratitude, cherish these hard-won opportunities, and repay the donating enterprise with excellent academic achievements.

Heartfelt Donations Spreading Warmth

To further integrate poverty alleviation with loving educational support, Upway Global and its volunteers distributed sports and daily necessities to students during the event. They also visited and comforted five impoverished student families, providing scholarships and aid worth nearly RMB 10,000 in total.

Wufeng Primary School, nestled in one of Chinas most beautiful rural areas, suffers from its remote mountainous location: dilapidated facilities and an unlevelled playground due to funding shortages, resulting in cramped activity spaces and muddy grounds during rain—severely impacting teaching, learning, and daily life. The school had previously sought external support to improve its environment and facilities.

Upon learning of this, Upway Global promptly contacted the school to discuss building the sports field, helping elevate the educational quality at Wufeng Primary School.
