The "Walk with the Volunteers - Charity Walkathon," sponsored by Upway Global, was organized by Volunteers Without Borders (VWB), a registered charity in Hong Kong. Since VWB first organized the "Walk with the Volunteers - Charity Walkathon" in 2008, the event had been held annually for ten consecutive years by 2018. The fundraising event on March 18 was moved to Tsing Yi, Hong Kong, attracting nearly 500 participants and creating a lively and grand atmosphere. The fundraising route this year was 3.5 kilometers long and featured a barefoot walking experience zone and booth games along the way, allowing participants to experience the living conditions of children who are extremely poor and threatened by disease.

All funds raised from the event, after deducting expenses, were fully allocated to the development of local volunteer services and the African child sponsorship program. The event also received strong support from TVB artistes Mr. Choi Kwok-wai and Ms. Jessica Kan, who served as event ambassadors. To thank Upway Global for sponsoring the event, the company logo was prominently displayed on promotional banners at the venue. Upway Global also received a certificate of appreciation from VWB for "Enthusiastic in Public Welfare and Benefiting the Community," recognizing its support for corporate care and practical commitment to the community.

Earlier in February of that year, to gain broader support and participation for the event, the organizing body launched extensive publicity in Hong Kong. This included advertisements placed in various MTR stations along the railway lines. Advertisements bearing the Upway Global logo were displayed at 300 locations across the stations to passengers, working together to promote the concept of public welfare. In the future, Upway Global will continue to support public welfare and charitable activities, spreading the concept of philanthropy in hopes of resonating widely and benefiting the community.
